For my birthday (31) I bought a camera to take better pictures of the stuff I make. The pictures I normally take are really nice for phone pictures but sort of lame for pictures in general. The camera is sort of a middle-of-the-road camera for point-and-shoot cameras, but incredibly amazing compared to a phone. So, that worked out.
The main features are:
- Small, and white
- 12x zoom
- Uploads pictures over wireless (although I can't get this to work and may not bother)
- Has no stupid buttons, just a giant touchscreen. Well, one button to take a picture. That's it.
The first picture is of my keyboard (here's the phone's attempt at that, which looks all right only because of much better light, it's noticeably blurrier and the colors are wrong) and the second is a zoomed-in shot of the 3D printer doing what 3D printers do. Once it finishes doing what 3D printers do a couple more times, I'll take a picture of the results.
